The Hierophant ~ April Fool’s Journey

With Knowledge comes Power comes Choice

“Be impeccable with your word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Use the power of your word in the direction of Truth and Love.” -Don Miguel Ruiz

THE HIEROPHANT is the archetype of the Priest or spiritual leader. Not all spiritual leaders may actually be what they seem, (or our perspective of them may be limited) but it remains true that we must be aware of the awesome power of the spoken word.
Our voices contain energy that can go directly into the hearts of those who listen, so we must pay attention to the power and weight of our words. Hierophant energy can be helpful when you are preparing a speech or working on finding your “voice” as a creative person.
This energy can be tapped with good results, but it’s important to dose it with some more free flowing energy or symbols, for example, the Fool or the Empress, so that the verbal decrees of the Hierophant do not take on an inflexible, dogmatic, or overly strict nature. — Kayleigh Jean

Day 6:  How am I currently using the power of my spoken word?

My card: The Chariot, reversed.  Recently I have had deep late night conversations about being the Creator of my life ala Course in Miracles, where the Creator created me therefore I am the Creator. We all are Creators and we are all connected/all One. At the same time we are here to have our individual lives in order to pour our experience back into the collective and shape the reality of existence. Fun stuff! The Chariot represents duality and the formation of a healthy ego – we must have strong egos to shape our world, and at the same time remember that our choices create ripples in the fabric of (the collective) consciousness.

Chariot is spot on. I have a decision to make, actually I have made the decision. It’s spiritual and creative in nature, as is the number seven. (Chariot is VII in the major arcana). There is tension in seven, a restlessness which requires movement. It’s almost a “do or die” feeling. Yet, to move backward is not a choice, it’s the type of movement that requires faith and examination of everything I have learned in my life up until this point.

I have been using affirmations daily for about a year now. I recorded myself speaking the affirmations in the first and third person – and listen on my ride to work and my ride home from work. The recording is about an hour long. I created the affirmations in order to help change beliefs about myself that are no longer serving me – especially around money, my value and what I value, what I feel I deserve and can have, doing work I love, reiki, my body image and sexuality, creativity, home, and, what I have to offer as a teacher.

Suddenly, things are beginning to click, and certain ways of being no longer make sense. It’s like I am saying “good-bye” and walking into a new reality.

I have been using the spoken word to build a foundation for myself that is powerful, true to what resonates and feels good to me, and to what leans toward love and the highest good.

Changes are coming. I’m feeling more in the flow than ever, and am determined to move and dance with the flow because that’s where things feel right and good. The reversal may be that some of this flow has come about from extreme contrast – and also – perhaps, looking for too long at things that make me feel uncomfortable and angry – and feeling the need to speak the outrage before the next move. (I’m over the outrage, but it has been a catalyst for sure).

I am now speaking of the change out loud, regardless of the catalyst – and the people who I respect, love, and admire are receptive to the shift. Though my spirit has already confirmed what I need, my loved ones affirm it.

My language, my spoken word, is affirming of who I am. Adversity to who I am is showing me that I need to make my move.

    1. Yup! The wild thing is because of the slow affirmations, re-writing my beliefs, things are changing. I am at a precipice now, and the view is beautiful.

I hope you are doing great!

      1. Don’t fall and enjoy your views. I’m doing well and thank you for mentioning it. I live in upstate NY right on the Canadian border about 1 1/2 hours from Montreal. We’re still in the high 30s at night and the high 50s during the day, so I’m still using the heater, lol. Have a wonderful remainder of this week!
