Art Saves Again!

Have you ever been moved by art? Have you ever been moved by Bill Murray’s art?

Keep doing your thang! Please! It’s important! No matter what anyone tells you, or told you when you were a kid. For me, I was told I could be anything – but then, when I said I wanted to be an artist, the response was – “What, you want to be a bum??”

I posted this on instagram yesterday:

When I came home from my travels, this painting was waiting for me. My roommate’s 5 year old nephew made it for me. He wanted me to know he was inspired by my paintings. This makes me so happy. My vision as a creative person and teacher is to inspire people to be “conscious creators contributing to a Renaissance of human potential that uplifts all of humanity and every being on the planet.” We are all creators! Kids get it. As adults, we sometimes forget. This little painting is now on my altar as inspiration to keep on going – right next to my vision and mission statement that my friend Gina inspired me to draft. I needed the reminder today! Keep on doing your thang – the world needs you more than ever. Peace everyone (I mean it). #co-creators #missionstatement #visionstatement #goals #creativelife #artlife #weareallcreators #flagstaffartist #keepgoing

I’m so excited my roommate is going to let her nephew know how inspired and grateful I am for the painting he made for me.

More of my art will be up on this site soon. I’ve been so busy creating, it’s hard to keep up on the blog and the updating of the entire website. I’ll get there. Someday, i’ll have an assistant to help me. 🙂

For now – keep on doing your thang! (thanks + thing = thang). You might save a life!

I'm a rock-n-roller poet who left the Big Apple for the Big Sky Desert where I've been letting it be and grooving with universal love, singing to the gods, dancing with the muses and bicycling with dreamtime messengers. I like altering my reality through imagination, movement, breath, and makin' stuff.
