April 2020 – Isolation Song 19 – Lorelei

Lorelei by Phillip Chevron

It felt so good to learn this song.

We finally learned Lorelei by the Pogues! Paul and I have been wanting to do this song since last year while listening to the cd ‘Peace and Love’ on our way home from the Telluride Mountain Film Festival.

We were so looking forward to playing the festival this year! The world had other plans . . .

I am grateful we are healthy and learning new songs.

I am in love with this song. It’s beautiful.

I am so grateful for music and to be able to make music. It is so healing for me.

What feels healing and good for you to do today? Can you take some time and do it?

Of course, just being human is pretty darn wonderful, too. Embrace your being-ness.

Be well!

Take care!

Peace and love,

Holly

  1. I had a blast! So much fun and great vibes + I got some good hmmmmssss, I miss Telluride and Colorado. Great to miss ‘em like you two expressed at the end, while I was listening to you play Lorelei, the missing was happy reminiscing. Got to revisit many a Colorado road trip… well, at least the serendipity started in that CO.

Again, I had a blast listening to this, a full-on bouncing smiling blast! Thank you.
