A lovely place to rest

Taos, New Mexico. I’ll be back someday.

I visited Taos, NM. I took many photos, but here are just a couple. Little places of magic. This spiral sun is on a planter outside a shop. So much color and life – a magical container for planting seeds.

And this amazing bench. Friend, artist, and tarot scholar, Jordan Hoggard, and I explored a trail that begins with this bench.

I’m so grateful I stopped by for a visit to see the splendor of Taos. The rest of America is appallingly bland until New England and New York City. At sunrise, there was beautiful frost and mist on plants and fields near the border of Indiana and Ohio, but culturally, the country feels alien and sad.

But that’s nothing new. I needed a long drive for the reminder.

  1. Wonderful visit, and magical shots! Great to show you Taos! I saw it with some new eyes as well as I kept driving by the bench, driving by the bench, and then when I showed you, “Let’s go!” You said. Big smiles to explore new places literally right next door!
