Sydney Francis and I are embarking on a vast project for releasing shame from our physical and bliss bodies, and inviting joy, love, and full-bodied empowerment into our lives. We are beginning this endeavor with a ritual that is a practice in deeply grounding our right to be safe, loved, happy, blissful, and comfortable with our sexuality, creativity, intellect, love . . . basically it’s a celebration for the essence of what makes us each unique as well as part of the larger consciousness.
New Moon is the time to plant intentions — and Libra is the sign of relationships and partnerships. Libra is ruled by Venus, so there is in increased desire for love, harmony, and beauty in our lives at this time. We may be asking ourselves questions about how to have more balance in our lives and our relationships, or how to have more beauty around us, or we may seek beauty in ourselves and relationships. How do we nurture our creative dreams? How do we nurture love, give love, and receive love?

When we are growing up, most of us do not have a choice about whom we are spending our time with until we start making friends in school. We are surrounded and influenced by our families and/or caretakers. (Some people would argue that we do choose our families before we are born, and maybe that will work for this post as well.
