Born on a Thursday # 42 (on Friday) – Earth, the only planet we’ve got

“I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape-the loneliness of it-the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it-the whole story doesn’t show.” ~ Andrew Wyeth

“Enjoy your body, use it every way you can. Don’t be afraid of it, or what other people think of it. It’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.” – Kurt Vonnegut

6th Chakra Say . . .

Chakra 6: Ajna ~ To perceive, to know • Intuition • Sacred Trust • The Right to See • Light

Ajna means to perceive and command. Our perception of the world has a double-edge. As we perceive the world, that is how we command it. If we perceive the world as dangerous and scary, then we will command to be shown dangerous and scary things. If we perceive the world as a place for joy and adventure, then we will draw to us joy and adventure. We can choose how to view the world.

The 6th chakra is about perception, clarity of vision and thinking, and psychic ability. It is where we store and interpret our memories, perceive our dreams, and imagine our future. It is where we learn discernment – and the ability to detach ourselves personally from our life’s lessons.
