The Table Before Me

From September 6, 2022. The day before my mother’s 81st birthday.

The table before me:

Neil Gaiman
bottle of water
chimes
hair elastic
books
refund check
marker
electronics
nail clipper
massage ball
bug spray
incense
arnica gel
flowers
various crystals
rocks
sea shells
coins
Chinese Buddha figurine
Tibetan Buddha candle holder
Babylon
jar of water
hormones
king of swords
Death

Sit. Breathe. Assess. Notice.
stiffness —
shoulders, neck, back.

Pay attention: brain fog.

Imagine imagining “what next”

What next?
What next?
What next?

    1. Neil Gaiman is so good. One of my favorites . . . And – he is a neighbor here in the HUdson Valley – I haven’t had any Neil sightings yet – but just you wait!!

I’ve seen his ex-wife (Amanda Palmer) plenty of times – walking down the street – haven’t talked with her yet, but I suspect at some point we will have the opportunity to say hello
