Accepting Beauty

beauty is intrinsic. paper written for grad class in sustainable communities. professor was dr. sandra lubarsky. Beauty does carry a lot of weight in our psyches whether we want to admit it or not. Its original meaning and what it’s been twisted into are very different. I doubt beauty is ignored by artists today, but rather reflected to show what it has become. In order to understand the shift in status of beauty as an important quality in life, we need to look at the evolution of beauty in our culture.
