When we experience two new moons in the same sign – we have the opportunity to learn more about the qualities of that sign.
The Virgo New moon Solar Eclipse happens at the very last degrees of Virgo and in less than a day, we tip over into Libra Season, which is also the Equinox – in the northern hemisphere we enter autumn.
How can we bring our Virgo lessons into our relationships / our partnerships?

Mom’s birthday falling on a Lunar Eclipse this year was fitting. The in-between time of the Lunar Eclipse and next week’s Solar Eclipse already feels like something has changed for me on a deep level. “I shared a little while back that I was still coming out of the underworld. It feels like now I am closer to the mouth of the cave.”
Cancer’s planet is the Moon. This is a time of honoring the Divine Feminine. This is a time of recognizing our emotional energy as sacred and wise, our intuition and synchronicities as holy guidance, and our impulse to nurture and protect all living things as evolutionary and creative.
Amazing eclipse energy! This class is an intention, and today, while visiting a friend in Sedona, I will further my intention ritual. Pumpkin carving with friends will become a ritual.
I viewed the sun and moon through two different telescopes during the eclipse. In the first the sun looked white and the moon dark grey. Along the edge of the moon I could see ripples in the surface. Craters! And I could see sun spots. What are sun spots? The surface of the sun is like fire, but there are spots there. The second telescope had a different light spectrum, and the sun was red while the moon was black. On the edges of the sun I could see solar flares! They looked like swirling red smoke.
The moon set off my moon 6 days early. OK. Maybe I am on track now with the new moon. The energy around the eclipse felt compressed, like the light. I’ve been needing a lot of rest – yet when I am resting I feel restless. My dreams that night warned me not to get caught in webs of despair, I need to be careful who I let into my life. Some people cast far-reaching spells. I know who I need to let go of. Karmic, lifetimes. The contracts are null and void.
Sojourn at the Underworld is an experiential ceremony where participants will:

– guided along a physical passage for releasing what is longer needed for this transitional time of the year and of our lives;
– learn techniques for grounding, being in the moment, for releasing emotional residue, and for setting intentions;

– ground our “right to be” who we are as unique and communal beings on this planet;
– will practice and learn techniques for drawing in what we want to have in our lives;
– integrate the experience;
– share community and feast with the spirits!
