Dancing with our Shadows

I remember, back in the 80s, when I worked with Seane at Life Cafe, she was a waitress and I was a bus person. We were both teenagers. One night, she looked at me and said, “Don’t do drugs, they will ruin your life.”

I must not have been high at the time, because I remember her saying that.

Sometimes some of us are born into the shadow – thankfully some of us find ways to dance with it.

Off the mat and into the world.
