I am seeing a boy who lives on the same property as his mother. I am visiting him when he tells me his mother said, “I observed Holly last week and I am convinced she drinks too much water. She is not allowed to drink water from our house.”

Without a second though I say, “That’s fine. I’m breaking up with you.”

The boy is really cute and sweet, but I see the situation for what it is. I leave with no regrets.
