Fat

Fat

He said he hates when “skinny women” think they’re fat

He got angry when I told him —
I didn’t want
much butter
on my grilled pickle and cheese sandwich.

He argued
that it needed butter
to be crunchy
on
the
edges.

He thought
I was trying
to tell him
that I think
he’s
fat.

He imagined
all the grilled sandwiches of the future:

butterless, fatless, gourmetless.
