Every year, Kayleigh Jean from Falcons and Pentacles offers April Fool’s Journey – prompts for exploring the Major Arcana (the Hero’s Journey) through tarot card divination and a writing prompt. These are the cards I pulled for my own exploration – try pulling cards for yourself – or – get a reading from me.
Prompt for the Hermit card: Who am I, really?
Queen of Wands
Oh wow! This is an exciting card to pull! I love it – and for me, at this moment in my life, it makes so much sense. I’ve learned to honor my nature and the importance of steady productivity and the need for meaningful work characterized by my Sun in Capricorn; the playful adventure coupled with the revolutionary expansive vision of my Sagittarius Ascendant; and the desire to dive deep and experience transformation intrinsic to Moon, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter housed in Scorpio.
Queen of Wands is the Master of Creative Imagination. She is a natural attractor and manifests her authentic intelligence with constancy, trust, and confidence. The warmth she exudes is heart-centered, and it is faith in her heart that leads her actions and inspired innovation. Her deep-inner conviction gives her the strength and energy to act on her inventive urgings, no matter how far-out they might seem.
If there is one thing I know about myself — it is once I get involved in a creative project that lights up my heart, I am loyal in seeing the project through with integrity, enthusiasm, and fun. This is where I shine! I work best when I follow my intuition and take actions when the time feels right, rather than following someone else’s formula of “shoulds.” I know that I attract exactly what I need at exactly the right time — pushing the flow often blows the creative fire out.
I am happily self-contained in the joy of creative possibility. It is through my heart-centered imagination that my capacity to love expands. Hard life lessons have taught me to avoid people who want my warmth but do not honor my path of creativity.
Oh yeah!
There is so much to explore in this life! I am dedicated to my inner and outer world with integrity, open-hearted curiosity, and joyful grace.
Peace and love –
Holly
If you would like a tarot reading, I am offering my services during this time of transition and isolation for $25.00 – that is half my usual rate. Readings last for about 45 minutes.
To book a reading, book a time on my calendar, or contact me and we will make it so! I will respond within 24 hours.
Be well! So much love!
I see. She has a private site. I sent a request for invite.

Putting the two together, absorbed by The Hermit, sounds like the Queen of Wands settled right into you. Great lead-up, and then you said it all right here with, “ I am happily self-contained in the joy of creative possibility.” They both certainly live in that statement.
Constructively expansive expression of Q of W natural energetic wisdom from intense experience as the (blog) end. “Hard life lessons have taught me to avoid people who want my warmth but do not honor my path of creativity.” Amen to that.

Thanks!
All the draws feel very spot on. It’s been fun having an adventure with the Major Arcana. Kayleigh Jean of Falcons and Pentacles has done a great job with her “April Fool’s Journey” prompts.
I plan on creating my own prompts for the minor arcana once I finish April Fool’s Journey.

That’s an excellent idea! Swimming and immersing yourself in the Tarot through the minors the way you’re doing with the Majors, especially the consistency? That sounds like a solid recipe for fluid fluency.
I need to check out Kayleigh Jean and Falcons and Pentacles. This April Fool’s Journey is epic, step by step.
May the ground rise up to support your every step from places there was none before. (Irish Proverb? That speaks to The Fool)
