Not too Late

Hallelujah

I recorded this for Paul’s dad, Norm a couple of weeks ago. He requested a video, since I sang this at his wife Marion’s wake last March

Paul’s mother Mar surely loved music.

I felt a little vulnerable – this is the first time playing guitar and singing on my own. I am new at guitar and usually there are other musicians backing me up. Vulnerability feels appropriate, given the context.

I also feel good to finally have made the video. I promised it four months ago!

Norm has watched the video every day since I posted it. I wish I could have made it under different circumstances. He and Mar were married for over 50 years. Since his wife is now gone, this truly is an Isolation Song.

A little challenge and the beginning of a new era.

Peace and love!
