I have been really busy lately between making videos for my online workshop Writing the Energetic Body , reading the writing from the class and commenting on it (man, I am really loving what the participants are writing), packing house to move from Tucson, and being the central mom-figure to a child whose disability is really flaring up lately (most likely due to stress over moving and school about to end).
Tonight, both child and dad are gone! It’s nice to have some quiet – so I can enjoy music in peace. I Was listening to songs set to random on my Ipod and Creep from the album Pablo Honey by Radiohead came on. I had to stop all that I was doing and just listen. Thom Yorke’s voice is amazing (up there with Jeff Buckley), and this song is really beautiful. (Actually this song makes me think—Pixies meets Jeff Buckley).
When Radiohead first came out, I couldn’t stand them! Alas, I am not the same person I was 20 years ago.
