Dreaming the Year

Working with Sydney has been fantastic. I love deeply exploring topics, and looking at sex and sexuality through the lens of the chakras is no exception. When I reach my limit, when it feels to me like I can go no further, Sydney has a way of nudging me to go a little farther. I get to the point where I kick up swampy mud and I think that is all there is, and with one word, Sydney has us flowing downstream, out of the swamp, and deep into a vast ocean.

New Moon (Practical) Magic Phase II – Starting where you are

So PHASE II is this:

Break your Three-Year Success Dream into doable steps – they can be the teeniest, tiniest doable steps along your path, or they can be big leaps. Maybe take some small steps to build up your confidence with some hops and pirouettes thrown in. Do it your own way, with your unique style. Do it in a way that is fun and where you are least likely to beat yourself up. Maybe some of those small steps become habit, and once they are established, you reach a turning point. Three years is 1095.75 days. What can you do, see, be? Can you wonder what it feels like to do, see, and be something completely new? Who can you call or enlist to help you on the way? Who and/or what can you let go of? What are 1095.75 steps you can take toward something? Can you enjoy the journey and not worry about the destination?

Born on a Thursday # 38 – What Next?

I know it all starts with breathing, gratitude, and letting go of what cannot be changed. And feeling, and moving, and letting the feelings move, and taking action—even if they are tiny.

A few strokes in a new direction and I know the water will be just fine.

New Moon (Practical) Magic

I borrowed this post from one of my workshops. The exercise was based on writing and using the energy of the new moon. Tomorrow is the New Moon – why not use its energy? If you don’t have a ritual that you already do, give this one a try . . .

Reflections on – Going Deep, Sojourn at the Underworld

Some of our big questions are, “Where do we find our power in this society without losing our humanity, creativity, sexual energy, time for love, personal relationships and nature? How do we heal trauma so that we may experience our lives fully in the moment? How do we survive financially without trading over or losing our power?”

Now I am feeling happy and energized to get back to work on our writing. I spent the weekend in the wilderness with my partner where we enjoyed one another and the world around us. I felt safe and relaxed, and finally caught up on sleep! And I breathed fresh air, and sat by a fire, and spent prolonged periods in the moment – marveling at the beauty of the stars, at the sound of water and birds and grasshoppers, and at the love and appreciation of another human being.
