Notes on Sex and the Energetic Body

This work is sometimes very intense – and timely. I like to dive DEEP, and there is no turning back now. Sydney and I are both doing a great deal of processing as we navigate this terrain. I feel very ALIVE!

My colleague, Sydney Francis, and I are working on a large project regarding sexuality and our connection to our bodies, one another and the planet. Sydney posted some of her ideas this morning on the underlying themes to our work. Here are a few:

  • Our medium for all experience is physical.
  • The body is innocent. (this is not a Christian or Catholic belief; rather this a belief I have learned and chosen from studying the Lakota Medicine Wheel with with Reverend Rosalyn Bruyere.)
  • The body is sacred.
