Day 2 – The Magician.

The Magician archetype represents the point in our growth when we realize the power that we have to affect our own circumstances. “I create my reality” is a perfect affirmation to bring in Magician energy because it takes personal responsibility into our own hands. This archetype understands that although we may not be able to control every aspect of our lives, we are able to manipulate, transform, and affect the MOST IMPORTANT aspects of our lives through the power of our own choices and ingenuity. When we’re under the influence of Magician energy, we know the power of visualization and mental projection, so not even the most harrowing of situations can stop us from achieving our goals! What positive changes can I initiate this month using Magick or ritual?

I pulled the Knight of Swords and the Sun.

The Knight is a fearless warrior with the courage and energy to embark on something new or unknown. The Sun represents joy and inner-knowing, warmth, and self-expression – it also radiates light – the focus and actions are on what light me up, what I am excited to try, and what allows me to pour loving energy toward myself and others. And, as I step into the unknown, maybe even into the dark, I know the Sun will return.

The biggest positive change is acting on my ideas and sharing them. Concepts have been brewing and gathering ingredients for some time. The action always begets new ideas – so nothing is ever too precious. To know I must take action. Knight of Swords energy wants to act swiftly toward a paradigm shift while the Sun reflects on what feels warm and good, true to the Self, where to focus. This is the sea change toward manifestation.
