Music comes ‘Round

Last week, I went for a very long walk with a friend. She said, “You are a musician. That’s your job. So keep making music.”

That simple phrase shook me awake. Even though the world isn’t really open doesn’t mean I’ve stopped playing. It’s weird just practicing and having no show.

Paul and I are resuming Songs from the Hearth. Last week Paul taught me World is Round by his college band Smokey Jungle Frog.  So much fun. His band Planet Sandwich is resurrecting it to be a full-on indie rock number.

Here it’s just the two of us. Soon, I’ll play guitar on it as well.

Peace and love,

I'm a rock-n-roller poet who left the Big Apple for the Big Sky Desert where I've been letting it be and grooving with universal love, singing to the gods, dancing with the muses and bicycling with dreamtime messengers. I like altering my reality through imagination, movement, breath, and makin' stuff.
