Christmas Eve message overall:
You deserve love, joy, and respect simply because you exist. And so does everyone else. Be generous in both giving and receiving good will.
8 of Pentacles, 6 of Cups, 5 of Pentacles reversed, and 4 of Cups at the bottom of the deck
Here’s the energy:
8 of Pentacles: You have skill and a reputation for your skill. You have managed to keep things in order with what it is you do. Things might be starting to feel rigid – it’s time to have some fun and let some fresh energy in. What first inspired you to do what you do, to develop the skill in the first place? Are you enjoying your labor, or are you merely concerned with the outcome?
6 of Cups: There is room for play. Visiting with a friend will give you new inspiration. Connection is Divine. We are here to connect. Beware of getting so caught up in work that you forget connection. Let play be curious and innocent. Let play be the Divine container for curious, innocent, nurturing connection.
5 of Pentacles reversed: Allow yourself to receive. Just by being alive you deserve a good life – despite what you might have been told by your culture. Choose to have ease.
4 of Cups: Finally, take some time to yourself for meditation. Be present. A few minutes everyday settles the nervous system and opens you up to receiving Divine inspiration. Fill your cup!
Working with Today’s Energy
Action: List five things you are grateful for every morning. And if you can, every night. Gratitude opens you up to noticing how blessed you are, which makes it easier to both give and receive more easily. Notice all the ways the universe is conspiring for you. (Check out Rob Brezsny’s book, Pronoia is the Antidote for Paranoia: How the Whole World is Conspiring to Shower You With Blessings)
Action: Start a meditation practice
Action: Call an old friend, or send them a handwritten letter. Reminisce about a fun time you had. Tell them how grateful you are they are a part of your life.
Share: I would love to hear how it goes! Feel free to share in the comments below.
Book a reading
If you wanna book a reading with me, check out my offerings.
Seasonal changes, the solstice, birthdays, the New Year are all great times to get a reading.
This is it! Twelve days of Tarot has run its course. It was a blast!
If you would like to see more posts like this, let me know. I’m going to percolate in birthday goodness and family festivities and my geeky intention-setting bliss for the next week.
