This morning I dreamed it was sunny outside. I was surprised when I opened the shades to see snow. Confusion! 

But when I opened my computer, I learned that my painting, Cosmic Clock, finally arrived at its new home in Greece!  Chris Kourt posted this image of his beautiful wife Maya holding the painting in their new home – and with so much sun streaming in! Ah, yes!

Chris said, “A part of you lives here now.” 

Maybe that is why I dreamed of the sun. A part of me is in sunny Greece. 

I’m really proud to say the new owners of Cosmic Clock are part of Brussels-based Friends of Europe, “a leading think-tank that connects people, stimulates debate and triggers change.” 

Both May and Chris are writers and  leading international yogis – see their website, Brahmaloka or Bust! 

They are both doing good things in the world – adding smart and positive energy out there in the world and the collective.

This painting has so many layers, beginning as an exploration of nature, a landscape. And then a grid upon the landscape. And then the sky upon the grid. And then, the cosmos. Ever-expanding, celestial bodies responding and dancing with one another, spiraling out, so big and so tiny, so powerful on the quantum level that we can hardly understand it.

Due to high cost, Cosmic Clock was removed from its stretchers and rolled for shipping. I can’t wait to see the painting once it’s re-stretched and Chris and Maya hang it in their home.
