Dark poets, please dance with me – by John Coyote

This is a response to Writing Prompt 205 – Dancing with Ghosts written by John Coyote. I love when people make poems from the prompts!

Dark poets, please dance with me

I am dancing alone at 3 am with the Pacific near.
I am dancing with ghosts I have befriended.
Once alive, now they join me and they whisper to me.
Dark poets, please dance with me and I will tell you tales of greatness,
I will tell you tales of sadness and I will make you believe.
Love can be. We must love the sea, we must love the beautiful sky.
Both are lovers, who shall not break our heart.
