Things have changed

Found Poem by TJ from December 28, 2008

I saw nuns flying over the hudson river as a child.
They leap like

lemurs.

I saw them in windstorms by the old church,
some of the younger ones could fly,
it was like a flying squirrel,
a sugar glider.

I never see them any more —
and it had nothing to do with the TV show.

I saw a nun leap over a sprinkler on my back lawn
while I was in a crib.
things have changed since the 70’s.

Oh man
things have changed.
