Flipside Musical Tide

Rearview Mirror

I’m grateful for music. Especially when the world is crazy!

I haven’t experienced performing music on a regular basis since Summer 2021. I’ve been part of a few projects since coming back east, but nothing has stuck. Maybe my musical adventures are over, and maybe they aren’t. (The first time I retired from music was 1988. Since then, I’ve come to accept that music is a mysterious friend).

This happy performance feels like it never happened. But it did! It did! And this one happened in my living room!

I’ve been slowly reposting these videos. We were doing a fundraiser on facebook live. I figured out how to record the show about five minutes before we started playing – but the orientation was flipped. Recently, I’ve been correcting the orientation and reposting. It’s been a blast for me to see these videos again.

2016 elections and Covid wore on my heart and soul big time. I’m really glad I can look back and see I had so much fun making music. By the end of the summer we moved out of the house – and I moved on to the east coast to help take care of my mom.

New adventures!

So far, here are the videos I’ve updated.

The pull to create is endless, even when it seems like nothing much is happening. So much creativity has been tumbling and bubbling it’s way to the surface. Honoring the ebb and flow is all I can do. The tide is picking up!

I’m looking forward to experiencing this next wave.

Peace & Love!
