Born on a Thursday #29: Summer! Love!

I am amazed at how sweetly perfect this summer has been. These last few months have been an expansive and happy time. And right now, Flagstaff is lush with flowers like I haven’t ever seen them before!

Though summer is bursting—besides the light shifting, and the sunflowers curling up—evidence of its parting is gently creeping in.

I found these succulents turning red along a crack in the sidewalk—change and beauty in an unlikely place.

This song is sad and lovely only the way Joni Mitchell can do it. A summer good-bye song.

Thanks for reading.

Love! Love! Love!
