Quilts! Paintings! Jewelry! Oh my! Planned Parenthood Event Raffle Pieces

I framed my piece for the raffle happening at the Planned Parenthood Celebration of Women’s Health fundraising event in Flagstaff, AZ, on March 8th. The event is sold out – but you can still buy raffle tickets. They are $5.00 a piece, or 5 tickets for $20.00.

I am so excited that this event is sold out! Yes, citizens DO care about women’s health, and children’s health, and men’s health, too! (We’re all connected)!

There’s Always Another Mountain to Climb by Wendy Wetzel

Indeed there is always another mountain to climb when it comes to health care. Tough, perhaps, but the vistas can be beautiful—well worth the effort!

Wendy Wetzel is a very active women’s health advocate (not only is she an artist, but she’s a nurse and the director of Flagstaff’s production of Vagina Monologues!) If you haven’t seen her work live, you are missing out.

There will be many more items for raffle—Matagi and Wendy are the artists I am connected to. Local shops are also donating certificates, etc., to this wonderful and essential cause.
