Ginkgo trees look like water pouring upward as they grow. There is an undulation in their trunks like wax, like lava, like fluid dripping. And they break through the concrete, like water wearing down a stone over time.
Last night I dreamed a leaned on a ginkgo and water poured over my shoulders and into my mouth. I drank the water, it was the freshest water I had ever tasted. The tree poured over me like a waterfall.

I walked up a street lined with gingko. I noticed their undulating trunks. The sidewalk rippled where the trunks pushed outward. This stump was a gap in the canopy.

I saw a beautiful steeple many blocks away. I walked to the church to see it up close. I found this pathway. It is covered with gingko leaves. I love their beautiful fan shape.
