Prompt
“What, the fact that we’re all gonna die isn’t funny enough for you?” – Carolyn Elliot, PhD – Existential Kink
On Writing
Breathe the sentence in. Exhale the sentence. Inhale and exhale each word. Now inhale and exhale the sentence. Then, go!
There is only one rule, keep your hand moving.
Don’t worry about grammar, spelling, or punctuation. If you feel stuck, keep writing anyway. Try going back to the prompt and write it out until other words arise, then write those—or, repeat the last word you wrote again and again until new words appear—or, write, “I am stuck,” or “I can’t think of anything,” as long as you keep your hand moving. Writing is physical, the words will move through your body and come out of your hand—just keep it moving.
Now go – for five, ten, fifteen minutes . .

Hello beautiful Holly Troy. Here is my effort. My muse is alive today.
” Old soldier told the young soldier. Death comes when she wants.
Just live and fight another day.
My Apache friend told me. No time to seek death.
When death wants you. He will find you.
Every day, a new day to run, a new dance to dance for the sun and the moon.
The old poet told the young poet.
Please honey, forget seeking death.
Please seek life, please seek new adventures.
Find places of beauty and find people who know laughter.
Once upon a time, I held a 30-30 rifle.
Death whispered to me.
You ain’t done yet Johnnie.
Drop the round and put away the whiskey.
Life is hard, life is the teacher.
No-one can live forever.
Seek life, not death.
