The Resistance Cafe is a real place in north Jersey where my sister Laura MC’s music, poetry, and political commentary. She caught the Lofi Sofias on facebook livestream last Sunday and invited us to join the party. Alas – three of the Lofi Ladies are mothers with young children, and it being so close to Christmas . . . we could not. However, she is going to share some videos of the performance and have us on for reals in a month or two. I will be there representing tonight!
And Paul and I are going to perform a couple of songs as part of their open mic segment.

Below are some videos of the show from December 13, 2020. We had a pretty good crowd – at some point around 70 people! Mountain folk are tough. It was below freezing. It was a blast, and the folks who were there had a lot of fun. Everyone was respectful and masked up – and we were outside!

Very cool. You all garaged well. When I saw the video was flipped, I was like WTF Holly is now right handed? I was half way expecting some back masking secret messages to come through. You and Chelsey gave great debut performance on guitar and drums.

Yeah, our livestream was filmed in reverse – and then I forgot to flip a few to make them correct. I’m sure there is a secret message in there somewhere!
