It’s my birthday month! Woohoo! I’m spending most of my time in New York City this month – and there are all sorts of plans and I have a whole lot to say and not a lot of time to say it today.
I will say these things:
Music is happening. I’m meeting all sorts of musicians, projects in the works – songs to come!
I love being in my 50s.
I’m grateful for this time here, and I am looking forward to a different scene in January – even though I am really loving it here.
I am grateful I am spending time with Mom and Aunt Penny.
I am getting back to work – tomorrow I have a tarot reading booked and I am looking forward to it.
Getting excited about making holiday cards – more DIY up-cycled grooviness. There is so much cardboard in NYC it almost gives me anxiety seeing all of it. Instead, I will love it and do my small part to put a dent in the oceans of packaging taking over the streets.
I am having a freakin’ good time being wined and dined. I am fully accepting and enjoying it!
For now, I’ll leave you with some songs Paul and I did last August. More music and stories to come . . .
Also, New Moon in Sagittarius is also Lunar Eclipse! Let go what needs letting go and make room for new things to come in. Start thinking about your new moon wishes!
Peace and love,
Holly

New York City
Gratitude is an amazing thing, and you listing the things you’re grateful for is making me feel like being grateful as well. Anyway, thanks for this post!

oh, hurray! yeah!
This morning I needed the reminder on gratitude – isn’t it funny how quickly we shift and change and need the reminders?
Have an amazing day!

Manhattan is a matrix of space-time-possibities that in a very real sense is at the center of the Universe (or, more correctly, of a whole shitload of Multiverses). From my childhood days on East 10th Street thru my teen years hanging out in Chelsea to my grownup times living on West 95th (and later Chelsea again), plus my many hours as a paramedic at Saint Vincent’s and a student at NYU, I’m unstuck in time like Vonnegut’s Billy Pilgrim, and it’s PLACE that connects all those points on the line and in the plane….Enjoy it…savor it..remember it…leave your mark, your scent, and your presence, indelibly, forever!

Jim – Oh, yes! That is exactly it – I feel like I am a boatload of Multiverses jumping through time like Billy Pilgrim. I don’t know where I’m gonna land – but the possibilities are endless.
I’m also surprised when I find myself eating dinner at 11:19 at night wondering where the day went.
