Misty Lane on an Autumn Evening

I walked through Woodstock Cemetery during a cloudy autumn twilight. The air was damp, the darkening of the day was gentle and soft.

This tree seemed to reach out with its branches to absorb what little visible light was available while its trunk melted like wet chalk into the landscape.
