Tiny risks and tiny tastes!
The little steps add up. I am still building a new foundation – building up on art and music back here, at home, in New York. I am grateful to have the space to create, I want to do more more more – and yet – OK, I admit. I also need to rest more. Taking care of Mama and moving, leaving behind the southwest and my friends there, and making new ones and reconnecting with old ones here – there are a lot of moving parts.
Oh my God am I grateful for the time in this very bright and spacious apartment in New York. I don’t know how long I will get to enjoy it – and that’s ok – how long to we get to do anything, really?
I took a photo of the moon one morning while writing and having coffee in a room made of windows and skylights!
I love the city – I love being so close to so much stimulation – and – I got used to the desert and open spaces, swooping through the forest on my mountain bike, Cherry Bella! I don’t know if I could do apartment living for more than a few weeks at a time. I think I like it how it is – a few weeks in the city, a few weeks in New England.
At some point, my roots will take hold where they will.
But oh! While I figure out where I am actually going to land, I am so grateful my nomadic lifestyle is blessed!
