Autumn in the Hudson Valley: Art, Tarot, Gardens & Fundraisers

Fall Flurry

I hope all is well with you in this wild time. Please let me know how you are doing.

My public life has been low key in the four years since I’ve been back in New York. My main focus was taking care of my mom. It’s been almost a year since her passing – and I’m making the slow pivot toward art and music and teaching.

In the years since my return to the east coast I’ve had a few performances (Werewolves of Brooklyn and Banakha Sangha) and an art show (Kingston Pop Museum). I have several ongoing large art projects in process – too big to discuss currently.

Slowly I’m coming back into the world — and I am really excited to be creative and able to share my work.

In some ways this feels like a debut: I’m participating in three happenings – all related to a fundraiser for Red Hook Responds

The three happenings are a Silent Auction, Fall Fundraiser Party, and Art Exhibit

Silent Auction

The auction includes artwork from nineteen artists as well as various professionals offering their services. One can bid on the auction or make donations from anywhere in the world! Bidding is happening now and will go until 6:00 pm, October 3rd, 2025.

I am offering a Celtic Cross Tarot reading for auction. Depending on where you live in the world – I can do a reading via zoom or in-person.

I have been giving readings for several years. Following in my great-grandmother’s footsteps, tarot is one of the main ways I make a living.

(For the past 18 months I have been doing deep research on the tarot preparing for a book and embodiment meditations. Stay tuned!)

FUNDRAISER FIGHTING FOOD INSECURITY

You don’t have to live in upstate NY to donate or bid on the silent auction.

Dear People,

I am hosting a fundraiser for local upstate non profit, Red Hook Responds
Oct 3rd, 4-7pm at our barn, 99 Willow Lane, Clinton Corners, NY
to support local non-profit  Red Hook Responds fighting food insecurity.

I started volunteering for Red Hook Responds last November.

They prepare and deliver meals and groceries to those in need, mostly elderly and children. Anyone who asks for food, they deliver, no questions, no paperwork, not even last names required. And they have many other amazing services!

BIDDING HAS STARTED and ENDS OCT 3rd at 6pm

You do not need to buy a ticket or attend the event to bid on the artwork. all proceeds go to RHR

I am also having an art show at the barn during the Fundraiser which will open starting Sept 25th by appt. (10% sales proceeds will go to RHR) and open by appt through Oct 22nd

Open hours for viewing the artwork in the silent auction and the ART SHOW : Sept 27th and 28th, 2-5pm.

The show will be up Friday Oct 3rd, 4-7pm for the fundraiser party.

Hope you can participate in any small way!

Best,

Lindsey
