Decision (found poem)

Text we (my sister and I) got from my aunt this evening (3.28.2024)

We are okay.

Just had pasta for dinner.
Joann said
she was ready.
I said ready to go in the living room?
She said
ready to die.
I asked her what she wanted us to do with her.
Do you want to be cremated?
Yes.
Do you want us to scatter you with Heather and Grandma in the garden with all the animals?
Yes.
I said are you going to wait till after Easter?
Yes.
