April Fool’s Journey – The Empress

Every year, Kayleigh Jean from Falcons and Pentacles offers April Fool’s Journey – prompts for exploring the Major Arcana (the Hero’s Journey) through divination though tarot cards and a writing prompt. These are the cards I pulled for my own exploration – try pulling cards for yourself – or – get a reading from me.

Prompt for the Empress: Self love looks like . . .

Ace of Pentacles

Self love looks like devoting myself to a talent or creative project that results in material creation and success. It is acting on the energy of ambition and Divine Inspiration immediately. There is happiness and excitement in creating something from nothing.

Also, cards are saying, “Let nature embrace you — that is the source of security and inspiration. Go for a hike or mountain bike ride! Enjoy your body. Dance! Have sex! Celebrate!”

This is the super earth combo. The Empress is nurturing Earth Mama, and the Ace of Pentacles is the undeniable urge to manifest in the physical realm. Time to plant seeds! This is spot on for me, I am happiest when I am “making” — it’s what brings me feelings of safety, self-worth, abundance, and joy. It is the Capricorn way!

Peace and love!

Be well everyone –

Holly
