Writing Prompt 37 – What’s Really at the Center of Creation?

Today’s prompt inspired by my friend, tarot artist/philosopher Jordan Hoggard.

Prompt

“One must have a Chaos in the heart to birth a Star.” ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

On Writing

Breathe the sentence in. Exhale the sentence. Inhale and exhale each word. Now inhale and exhale the sentence. Then, go!

There is only one rule, keep your hand moving.

Don’t worry about grammar, spelling, or punctuation. If you feel stuck, keep writing anyway. Try going back to the prompt and write it out until other words arise, then write those—or, repeat the last word you wrote again and again until new words appear—or, write, “I am stuck,” or “I can’t think of anything,” as long as you keep your hand moving. Writing is physical, the words will move through your body and come out of your hand—just keep it moving.

Now go – for five, ten, fifteen minutes . .

  1. I postulate that B, the 7th chord in the key of C (creation) Major, is at the center of creation Blasting dissonance that disturbs the gray in a matter of quantum magic making what has been and what is yet to come.

I appreciate you using one my fave quotes from My Friend Fred as I call him, though moreso full-on dig what you’ve done with the prompter title of this post. That goes everywhere kinds of places………….

    1. Hi Jordan – thanks for the plethora of creative promptings with each of your posts. I’m hoping to go deep as we move into Scorpio Season – I have a backlog of posts to dive into.

      Your friend Fred gets right to it. In general – I try to keep things open and all-encompassing – maybe even the title can be the prompt?

      1. Yes, AND as well both and neither and either. Your post feels to set up a wonderful cairn at the trailhead, and once we step through…. we Path ourselves as we do. You’ve put a Maitre’d at the trailhead waving a direction INTO ourself, for us to each find the way. Thank you. :)
