looking saved me
I took this image before there were camera phones – or at least before I was aware of camera phones. I had a point and shoot digital camera – which I took with me everywhere. I had just moved to northern Arizona after living for two decades in New York City.
I dealt with the massive change from gritty city to dusty high desert by taking pictures, hiking, and yoga. [August 10, 2026]
Milk
These last few weeks, I was having tooth trouble that mysteriously came and went.
I try not to let myself get dark over my teeth — they are not responsible for the shadowy parts of my history (though it seems they have paid).
This is an image I photographed a few years ago. It reminds me of tooth mysteries and milk.

My life partner/Divine Consort has always loved photography. If his family had been more financially stable, while he was growing up, he probably would have had a point-and-shoot camera, as well as turned a portion of his bedroom into a darkroom.
Also, taking pictures, hiking, and yoga sounds like an excellent way to eliminate stress and tension.
Robert! Of course we have synchronicity on the subject of stability – I was writing in my journal about stability and how different my life would likely be had I financial stability every time I started my life over.
But now your life partner is with a Capricorn! How lucky.
