Standing at the Doorway of Mastery
We have been walking through a long cosmic corridor with Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn meticulously sweeping through Capricorn. Capricorn represents authority, reputation, public personae, who you are in the community, vocation, ambition, achievement, the government, land mass, empowerment, karma, and the bones. We are in the process of redefining our relationship to self, personal sovereignty and responsibility; the structures (bones) of supremacy; our environment and the ecological impact of our current system of dominance; and our collective responsibilities to our personal ambitions, our communities, and governmental leadership.
Know that the old way is not working anymore – we are being called to be conscious, aware, and graceful with integrity, responsibility, and knowledge. Dishonesty, blame, and ignorance will have intensified consequences now – we may have to change some behaviors. It’s OK – now is the time!
We may be finding the following questions surfacing from the subconscious, or their may be events in our lives forcing us to face these questions. Try doing some stream-of-consciousness writing* on these, 5 to 15 minutes each. Pick one or two (or more) a day over the next several weeks.

- What is it like to be given power?
- What is it like to have power taken away?
- What is it like to give my power away?
- What is good leadership?
- What is it like to be bullied?
- What is it like to be a bully?
- What is it like to be friends with a bully?
- What is it like to stand up to a bully?
- What is abuse of power?
- What does it feel like to abuse power?
- What does it feel like to abuse?
- What is it like to be abused by power?
- What does it feel like to be abused?
- What does it feel like to be abusive?
- What does it mean to blame someone who is:
asking for help?
- What is respect?
- What does it feel like to know who I am?
- What does it feel like to be told I am not who I know I am?
- What is joy?
- Can power be connected to joy?
- What does it feel like to:
- What does it feel like to:
- What is honesty?
- What is dishonesty?
- What is it to be strong?
- What is it to be weak?
- How does it feel to have a broken bone?
- What is integrity?
- What is survival?
- What is thrival?
- What is service?
- How can I be of service?
These are intense questions! And a fraction of what is coming up. If you find you have answers you don’t like, ask yourself:
- What would I like this to be?
- How can this be different?
- What action can I take today for something better? (even the tiniest step will do)
And allow the change to happen. We are all here to learn. And if things are really hard, please get help. Talk to a friend, see a therapist, get out in nature if you can.
Here are a few more questions surfacing at this time:
- Who am I?
- Who would I like to be?
- What can I, or would I like, to offer my community?
- What would I like from my community?
- What would I like to see for the world?
- What does it mean to be embodied?
- What does it mean to be alive on Earth today?
We are at a point in the corridor where we have reached a portal. So many have already stepped through. The gift of this time is that we have the power to reinvent ourselves and the world we live in.

Meditation to the Doorway of your True Nature
Here is a meditation in which you are invited by Nature to walk through a doorway. What happens when you say yes to Nature’s invitation?
Do you remember the animal on the door?
Do you remember the gift you gave the tree?
What did you release?
What was the fruit?
What did your new clothing, the clothing for you highest self, look like?
Quickly jot down the answers. The meaning may be clear to you right away, or it may seem mysterious. Sit with the answers, and be open for more clarity to come to you over the next few days.

* On Writing
Breathe the sentence in. Exhale the sentence. Inhale and exhale each word. Now inhale and exhale the sentence. Then, go!
There is only one rule, keep your hand moving.
Don’t worry about grammar, spelling, or punctuation. If you feel stuck, keep writing anyway. Try going back to the prompt and write it out until other words arise, then write those—or, repeat the last word you wrote again and again until new words appear—or, write, “I am stuck,” or “I can’t think of anything,” as long as you keep your hand moving. Writing is physical, the words will move through your body and come out of your hand—just keep it moving.
