10,000 Plum Doodles Project

I often use scribbles as the genesis for paintings. These squiggles carry energy for me, and on their own, they tell a story. I call them plums because they are little treats for my imagination. I will continue adding to this project until I have reached 10,000 drawings.

John S. Hall’s 10,000 Poems Project inspired me – but rather than writing – I decided to collect my drawings. Sometimes I write when I doodle, and sometimes I share the writing as well.

  1. Yes Holly life is good and scary, uncertainty of what is next, well I rarely had this issue except when life slowed for me almost to a stop. Our dad and mom did not show us almost any thing outside the large family group they belonged to , so my brother and I threw caution to the wind lived life like a rock star almost never really hurting anyone but self. About the only thing Dad taught us boys was don’t let anyone tell you what to do and if anyone talks bad about your Mom or Sister kick their Ass, so we had boxing gloves on at 5 years. mom taught us much better and wanted all of us to go to college and succeed I did eventually and became a social worker after all of the evil bad things I saw on that 30 year journey. I did not realize how hard it would be to get people to change direction. my Brother got his GED and built elevators in High rise buildings. My sister joined The Army and became a nurse. Her direction was much more diciplined than ours
