New Sun
Darkest night is upon us.
The first day of winter feels like I’ve reached the top of a creaky rollercoaster – I’m just about to peek over the edge before free falling down down down into the abyss of cold and slush and ice and wind. There is no telling where the next three months are going to take me but for one thing – the light is coming back! And eventually – the warmth.
First day of winter and I tell myself – Spring is here in ninety short days.
Ninety days is a lot of time for magic.
What if I trust that magic is happening in the dark, underground, in my dreams? What if I follow the flow of nature, and let myself rest – like the trees and bears and flowers? What if sleep is my greatest ally?
Winter is here. Winter is not easy for me. What if I took a moment to bless the unseen world, my imagination, and all the cold places (might as well – I’m surrounded) – before I let LED light to enter my eyes? No phone, no computer – not before I assess where and what I am. Not before I say thank you. Not before I visualize golden pink white light within me, all around me, and in everything. Divine Love permeating my art, my writing, my voice, the tarot, the trees, the ground, the air . . . all of it.
I made a Divine Love video for the Solstice.
Here is a short version with blessing:
The entire Winter Solstice video – with the mantra Aham Prema.
Happy Solstice. And now we can move toward the light!
Peace and love,
