Do Da Da Do Do DO DO – Yeah!

Paul’s dad had major surgery last week. Before Paul left to be with his family, I promised him I would dance every day for them – because dancing is the best way I know how to create and share good vibes.

Every day I’ve been sending them a little video of me dancing.

His dad came out of surgery with flying colors – so the first dance was full of “yays” and can-can kicks, and hugs and air kisses. Even Duke, our black lab, was dancing. When Paul’s dad was conscious, he showed his dad the video, and his dad was blowing kisses back at me, and hugs and saying, “I love yooouuuuu!” Oh my gosh! It was so sweet. I am almost crying thinking about it.

I am so grateful his dad is healing and is so full of love and life!

So the tiny dance videos continue.

I took this video this morning. I am so thrilled! Yesterday, my all-girl band the Lofi Sofias became complete! We have a drummer! She is super cool! It looks like we will be opening for Planet Sandwich in September and will be dressing and playing as another band (more to be revealed) for a Halloween event. AND – I’ve been painting!

So woohoo!

Happy freakin’ day, people! This is what happens when I’m makin’ art and music. I wake up happy, and when I’m happy, I dance.

What makes you happy??? Are you making time for your happiness?

Would love to hear what gives you life! Also, would love to see some dance videos!

    1. Oh my gosh!!!!! Your video is the best!

      Hurray!

Paul’s dad is doing well – so great! Now I need to go visit my mom, I realized the other day I haven’t been to NY in 6 years. Mom has come out to see me twice since then, and getting around for her is tough.

On another note – Paul, Heather Malloy and I are playing at Mother Road tonight! 😉

  1. I wish him a full recovery. I try to be grateful every day for the good fortunes that I’m at mentally and physically. Have a wonderful day!

    1. Thank you!

Gratitude is powerful! I know you have been through some difficult times, too – sometimes that contrast to the good times puts things into perspective.

      Have an amazing day!
