Aries New Moon Treasure Map

Treasure Mapping – Do it! You are worth it!

I learned about, and practiced making treasure maps in 1987, when I read Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain. I was 16 years old. I didn’t have a lot of crap gunking up my brain back then – I was a master at manifesting and I manifested an amazing life.

In the 90s, I learned about following the moon, and that helped me pay attention to my intentions and actions a bit more steadily. Combined with astrology, whoa! That’s some power. I fronted a band that played regularly all over New York and the tri-state area, was in college (and graduated magna cum laude), wrote horoscopes for Cosmo, lived in New York City, went to an ashram and became a certified yoga instructor, volunteered at the New York Open Center – there was a lot going on.

In the early 2000s, I took a detour into married life and Corporate America. I bought into the lie that I was old and it was time to settle down. For me settling down is actually making the commitment to grow in love and spirit. I found out that isn’t everyone’s idea of marriage. As soon as I said, “I do,” I heard a lot of people telling me “you can’t . . . ” Both the job and the marriage were soul crushing. My health deteriorated drastically and I was unhappy. It was a terrible life for me!

I got off track. Or did I?

I had to relearn many of the things I so readily accepted as possible when I was very young. (And by the way, so many strong women I know have similar stories about losing their confidence or having their sense of self shaken in their 30s – and it taking until their mid-40s to get it back).

Luckily, I had tools like astrology, yoga, intention setting with lunar cycles, treasure mapping and vision boarding, creative visualization, meditation – and they helped me create a new and better life.

I’M POSSIBLE

Aries New Moon is the perfect time to make a map. Aries is the child of the zodiac, the energy is of growth and enthusiasm – the vibe is nothing is impossible.

My last roommate had this written on his fridge – I’M POSSIBLE.

I wholeheartedly agree – if you are going to make one vision board a year, the Aries New Moon is the time to do it.

Be an April Fool!

Aries New Moon falls on April 1st this year.

You can do it!

I would love to hear how it goes for you.

Peace and springtime love –

  1. New moon signifies new beginnings yes? In numerology 1 also connotes the same meaning. So.. April 1st certainly implies some starting point. In one particular country, the government decided to officially relabel the country’s COVID situation from pandemic to endemic on 1st April. Synchronicity ? 🤔

    1. I think around April 1st, definitely Aries, the energy shifts in a way we can feel. And of course, Aries is a cardinal time of year, the beginning of Spring (or Fall depending on where you are).

New Moon is new beginnings. It’s the perfect time to set intentions and allow for new growth. I love following the cycles of the moon because it helps me to stay on track. If I have fallen off working toward goals, etc., the cycles help me evaluate where I am, The first quarter usually signifies a little sprouting of the seeds I planted at the new moon – and it’s a chance for adjustment. Is there anything I need to let go of (a behavior or idea, a thing, a relationship?). The Full Moon the seeds are full flower – what am I celebrating and committing to? What needs more weeding? And the last quarter is the final harvest – flower to fruit. And between the last quarter and full moon – fruit to seed – is there anything I want to carry over to the next New Moon cycle. When you add the actual sign the new moon is in, you can get specific about what areas of your life are being affected based on the house the sign resides in in your specific chart.

I love this stuff because it can get more and more specific. I also like that this particular treasure map is more general – and that’s the cool thing. Aries is the child of the zodiac – and the new moon is dark – both represent absolute potential. We don’t know where things are going – we just know anything is possible.

This particular year – yes, April 1. 1 is a new beginning I think, and yet, 4 – at least in tarot – is foundational. It’s a foundation. 2022 is a 6 year – in the tarot that is the Lovers (one plus one is three) – so – New Foundations through balanced Partnering to create something larger than our individual selves (could be partnering of people, ideas, colors, genres, yin and yang, etc)

      Have a great day!
