Plum Doodle 544
from February 13th:
credit score is dehumanizing . . .
what do I want?
when i was a musician, I put all the other things to the side – “I’ll get to that later”
- yoga
- writing
- painting
- herbology
- somatics
- healing work
music was prominent, but everything else was there. now it feels like a sifting and sorting and realizing a drop a day over thirty years has built up to something like knowledge.
i croon in the shower, sometimes i play my guitar. i play with phrases, and phrasing. i make lists. laugh at sounds.
swirling salty soup. cauldron.
what floats to the top? when i don’t look at the news for too long, if I skip social media: kitchen witchery. garden dreams. willow trees.
“not listening to your intuition is a form of insanity”

I often use scribbles as the genesis for paintings. These squiggles carry energy for me, and on their own, they tell a story. I call them plums because they are little treats for my imagination. I will continue adding to this project until I have reached 10,000 drawings.
John S. Hall’s 10,000 Poems Project inspired me – but rather than writing – I decided to collect my drawings. Sometimes I write when I doodle, and sometimes I share the writing as well.
